Maj. Peter Grossenbach, C-17 Globemaster III pilot with the 728th Airlift Squadron, performs pistol training during the Team USA Military training camp in Burlington, Vermont, in July. After trying out and qualifying for the team, Grossenbach went on to compete in the Interallied Confederation of Reserve Officers, or CIOR, military competition in Shumen, Bulgaria, Aug. 3-9. He represented the U.S. as part of an international team and won third place in the novice category. The pentathlon consists of: pistol shooting, rifle shooting, 500-meter land obstacle course, 50-meter water obstacle course, and up to a 15-kilometer orienteering, or land-navigation, event that also encompasses combat first aid. Congratulations to Community College graduates

JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. - Betsy Dudley, the Military Legislative Assistant for Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland, receives a safety brief before riding a Razor off road, all-terrain vehicle with the 446th Security Forces Squadron July 6, 2021, on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. Congressman recognition

Construction work improves parking lots, sidewalks
MCCHORD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. - A construction worker operates an excavator to prepared the ground to begin paving a new sidewalk between Bldgs. 1205 and 1207 here Oct. 27. Contingency medical facility pit stop for wounded
Tech. Sgt. Edwin Ipili and Senior Airman Alisa Olson, logisticians with the 446th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, McChord Air Force Base, Wash., stock medical kits with seven different types of simulated controlled narcotics for use during the Pacific Lifeline in Hawaii. Logisticians take care of all the medical supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is stocked and ready to go for the flight nurses and doctors to take on flights for patient care. The Pacific Lifeline exercise is a humanitarian assistance and disaster response exercise taking place Jan. 26 to Feb. 9 on three Hawaiian Islands.
