Command Chief Retirement
Command Chief Master Sgt. Gloria Bennett, 446th Airlfit Wing, gets soaked as her family and friends celebrate her final flight in a C-17 Globemaster III at McChord Field March 30. Bennett is retiring after 33 years of service in the Air Force Reserve. "During my career, supervisors gave me numerous opportunities to particpate in taskings, activities, and events outside my normal duties. It was not until much later in my career that I figured out these 'voluntold' opportunities helped to broaden my experience and knowledge. Now 33 years later, I can look back on the wonderful friendships built and memories shared with the hardest working, best-looking, and most talented Reservists in the Air Force Reserve Command. Thank you for being a part of my life," said Bennett. (U.S. Air Force photo by 2nd Lt. Denise Hauser)
