Kenneth Mazzuca, 446th SFS Operations superintendent, receive instruction on all-terrain vehicle riding and safety during the Reserve weekend, July 14, 2013. The ATV is one of the vehicles a security forces Airman might need in the field. For that reason, and because 446th SFS Reservists are deployable, they are required to take the ATV course every two to three years. Some of the 446th SFS Airmen have utilized those skills here at McChord Field to provide support for other security personnel, and incident response during major events, including air shows and Air Mobility Command Rodeo. Paul Berglund, a crew chief with the 446th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, installs an exhaust fan cover on a C-17 Globemaster in preparation for towing the aircraft to a maintenance hangar during a UTA here Sept. 11, 2010. Sergeant Berglund lives in Clarkston, Wash. and commutes 343 miles every month to drill with the 446th Airlift Wing.
