36th Aerial Port Squadron operations officer wins big
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS - Lt. Col. Maggie Elder, 36th Aerial Port Squadron operations officer here, finished first in the women’s division and placed eighth overall in a Half Ironman competition Feb. 19. Proving her warrior spirit and powerful physical endurance, Elder finished the three-part race with a time of 5 hours, 24 minutes and 2 seconds. 36th APS trains, loads Stryker into C-17
Army Spc. Amanda Ballentine, 301st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, reverses a M1136 Stryker combat vehicle for measurements and weighing at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Dec. 6. The 36th APS out of McChord Field helped to train the U.S. Army’s 301st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade on preparing a Stryker for transport in a C-17 Globemaster III.
