Ready to rescue
Air Force Reservist Senior Master Sgt. Andrew Canfield, pararescueman, 304th Rescue Squadron, Portland, prepares for a joint rescue training mission with Marines from the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Calif., to prepare for a deployment to the Horn of Africa in June. Pararescuemen are the only members of the DoD specifically organized, trained and equipped to conduct personnel recovery operations in hostile or denied areas as a primary mission.
