A bag of potatoes reaches the halfway point of its journey from the Central Pierce Fire & Rescue Department, Tacoma, Washington, to the 446th Airlift Wing Annex here, enroute to a deserving Reserve family's home, Dec. 15, 2015. The potatoes, along with other various perishable food items were donated to the wing as part of the Central Pierce Food Basket Program, where department members create dinner boxes from donated goods, so families in need can have a holiday dinner. The department built 450 food baskets, 50 of which were given to the 446th AW Care and Share Program, for Reserve families in troubled times during the holiday season. This is the 12th consecutive year the wing has partnered with the department.
