Reservist member wins Levitow Award
SSgt. David M. Smith, 446th Civil Engineer Squadron emergency management, stands at Joint-Base Lewis-McChord, WA, Apr. 1. Smith was recently awarded the John Levitow Award at Airman Leadership School as the only reservist in the class. Smith travelled to Eielson Air Force Base, AK in December to complete the training amongst a class composed mostly of active duty members from around the Air Force. Citizen Airman supports KC-46 Pegasus missions
Senior Airman Victoria Montgomery, an inventory management journeyman assigned to the 446th Logistics Readiness Flight, provided support to F-16 missions that led to the initial production lot of the KC-46A Pegasus—the Air Force’s newest refueling tanker. McChord Chiefs' Induction Ceremony

Army Staff Sgt. Tom Mcewan and Army Spc. Amanda Ballentine, 301st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, work atop a M1136 Stryker combat vehicle to prepare it for measurements and weighing at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Dec. 6. The 36th Aerial Port Squadron out of McChord Field helped to train the Army’s 301st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade on preparing a Stryker for transport in a C-17 Globemaster III.
