AES Reservist earns Joint Service Respect
Tech. Sgt. Shawn Clayton, an aerospace evacuation technician with the 446th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, performs patient assessment training on fellow Airman Airman 1st Class Patrick Mcgreevey, also with the 446th AES. Sergeant Clayton was recognized as the Noncommissioned Officer of the Exercise, by a panel of Army, Navy, and Air Force board members for his efforts at Global Medic, June 6-18 at Fort McCoy, Wis.

Capt. Mutita Hornsberger, 446th Aeromedical Evacuation flight nurse, supports Capt. Steven Smith, 446th AES flight nurse, as he "vomits blood" during a C-17 training exercise April 7. Hornsberger, along with other Reservists, is being evaluated on her ability to respond to different in-flight medical scenarios. Flight nurses and medical technicians are required to fly on a training mission every 60 to 90 days to stay current on their training requirements. AETC Civic Leader Tour
While Dr. Joe Leverett, an Air Education and Training Command civic leader from Altus, Oklahoma, uses the virtual reality system, U.S. Air Force Capt. Christine Durham, Detachment 24 instructor pilot, explains to other civic leaders about how the system is used to train Pilot Training Next students Nov. 6, 2019. During the visit, civic leaders toured missions of the 37th Training Wing, 12th Flying Training Wing, 502nd Air Base Wing and Air Force Recruiting Service, at Joint Base San Antonio. The Air Force Civic Leader Tour Program helps community leaders understand and advocate for the Air Force’s diverse missions.

AF JROTC cadets get a taste of Reserve life
