Ready to deploy
Reservists from the 446th Airlift Wing progress though a deployment processing line at the logistics readiness warehouse Feb. 7, 2015. A total of 189 Reservists were tasked for a mock deployment as part of EXERCISE SNAPSHOT, a joint training venture between Team McChord’s 446th AW, 627th Air Base Group and 62nd Airlift Wing. 50 Summits Challenge
The USAF 50 Summits Challenge is a project focused on helping US Airmen to proudly fly the Air Force flag from the highest point in each of our 50 states. This challenge is about getting outside, having fun, and expanding personal boundaries. It's also a unique way to combine the four prongs of resiliency so important to the well-being of our military members: physical, mental, social and spiritual, while exploring America's great outdoors. Twelve people representing the 446th Airlift Wing, McChord Field, Washington hiked Mount Si Oct. 12.

High school students and parents in the local community learned about the Air Force Reserve and the 446th Airlift Wing during event.
