2021 Outstanding Airmen of the Year
Air Force Reserve Command leaders recognized exceptional Reserve Citizen Airmen during the 2021 AFRC Outstanding Airmen of the Year ceremony held virtually, May 5. The AFRC Outstanding Non-commissioned Officer of the Year winner was Tech. Sgt. Clint Melancon. Melancon is the noncommissioned officer in charge of NC3 Systems, 307th Bomb Wing command post, Barksdale AFB, Louisiana.

Brooks, who will retire from the Air Force Reserve this summer, says ODF is one of the highlights of his over 40-year career. “It never got old,” said Brooks. “That’s why I kept going back all these years.”
