The Automated Lodging Reservation System (ALRS) is an automated system to be used by all 446th Airlift Wing commuting personnel who are authorized "unit pay" lodging at Joint Base Lewis-McChord on UTA weekends.
Know Your Status
IDT - Inactive Duty Training Direct billed to 446th Force Support Squadron (UTAs, RUTA, RMPs, TPs)
ADT - Active Duty Training Self-pay to member (AT, RPA, MPA) Ex. AF Form 938
Dual Status Start or end in ADT going to IDT and vice versa
Know your Member ID# and Pin#.
Note: If you are a newcomer or first-timer user and need an account set up, email the 446th Services Sustainment Flight at 446FSS.FSV.LODGINGHELP@us.af.mil.
Make reservations through ALRS for IDT only.
ALRS will shut down at midnight on the Sunday, FOUR WEEKS prior to each respective UTA (A or B UTA).
Cancel reservations before 1600 FIVE DAYS PRIOR to check-in.
Sign in and out at the lodging/hotel front desk.
Check out at the lodging/hotel front desk. - Verify check out times with front desk.
For ADT, make lodging reservations through Defense Travel System (DTS) or call hotels directly.
Contact hotel at least 24 hours in advance and provide government travel card information.
Do not make reservations later than FOUR WEEKS before upcoming UTA. Remember, you can book reservations for the ENTIRE fiscal year.
Do not make ADT reservations in ALRS. You should book through DTS or contact the hotel directly and provide your government travel card.
Do not be a "no show". Lodging office is charged for a "no show".
Do not check out after the hotel's check-out time. Know the check out time at your hotel. Lodging office is charged a late check-out fee.
Do not bring family or pets to stay at the hotel (in either ADT or IDT status).
Member makes their IDT reservations through ALRS mobile app and receives confirmation number. Member then contact same lodging/hotel for ADT reservations.
Failure to check-in will be considered a "no show".
Failure to cancel a reservation is considered a "no show".

After-hours cell phone number is (253) 677-7365. Please use this number for any after-hours reservations and for any lodging-related issues that may arise when on IDT status. Please verify with 446th FSS Lodging POC before going to any off-base hotel in IDT status, or your room will be an out-of-pocket expense.

STEP TWO – Once you receive a text from the ALRS system with your MOBILE UserID and Pin, download the “ALRS” app.
STEP THREE – Logging In – Enter your Mobile UserID and initial 10-digit phone number, it will then prompt you to change your PIN.
STEP FOUR – Navigating the App – Once logged in you will see SIX tabs: -Reserve -Notifications -My Bookings -Contact Services -Settings -ALRS Mobile Information
You can reserve Lodging through the RESERVE tab
*All reservations can be modified to add Rescheduled UTA’S the week prior and/or the week after if they are in conjunction with the UTA by clicking on the “CHECK-IN” date*
Once you reserve your Lodging, you will receive a text message with the confirmation. You then will see each reservation in the “My Bookings” tab
REMINDER: MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS AT LEAST 4 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE UTA. YOU CAN MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS FOR THE ENTIRE FISCAL YEAR.
IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL LODGING, DO SO NO LATER THAN 5 DAYS PRIOR TO THE CHECK IN OR YOU WILL BE CONSIDERED A “NO SHOW”.
