    The Air Force announced today it is in the final phases of transitioning to a new force generation model to balance today’s combatant commander needs while building high-end readiness for the future.
  • Air Force Services Center launches Air Force Gaming

    Air Force Gaming made its official debut Nov. 11, under the Air Force Services Center with a new intramural e-sports program. AFG is focused on supporting the Air Force’s resiliency and retention efforts through the creation of a global esports program that brings Airmen and Space Professionals together through community experiences and competitive leagues. At launch, AFG consists of a new intramural esports program - Air Force Gaming League, a Discord community and top tier competitive "pop-up" opportunities for all Airmen and Space Professionals. AFGL is currently being piloted in AFGSC, but plans to cover every base in the Air Force beginning in 2021.
  • Air Force names newest helicopter ‘Grey Wolf’

    The Grey Wolf is the command's first major acquisition in its 10-year history. The name Grey Wolf is derived from the wild species that roams the northern tier of North America, which also encompasses the intercontinental ballistic missile bases in AFGSC.

    The Federal Benefits Open Season began on Nov. 11 and ends on Dec. 9.
  • Air Force transitions to a single combat uniform

    Air Force leaders announced the service will move to a single combat utility uniform, adopting the Operational Camouflage Pattern, or OCP, already in use by the Army and Airmen in combat zones and in certain jobs across the Air Force.
