Exercise Rainier Kraken and Operation Iron Flight
U.S. Soldiers assigned to the 110th Chemical Battalion board a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft during exercise Rainier Kraken, March 20, 2022, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. The pre-planned exercise is designed to demonstrate the joint forces’ ability to operate and survive in all operating domains – air, land, and cyberspace. 36th APS trains, loads Stryker into C-17
Army Staff Sgt. Tom Mcewan and Army Spc. Amanda Ballentine, 301st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, work atop a M1136 Stryker combat vehicle to prepare it for measurements and weighing at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Dec. 6. The 36th Aerial Port Squadron out of McChord Field helped to train the Army’s 301st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade on preparing a Stryker for transport in a C-17 Globemaster III.
