Visit a Vet

Senior Master Sgt. Douglas Evans, 446th Maintenance Squadron Fabrication flight chief, visits Stephen Bogert, a two-year Army veteran, during a trip to American Lake Veterans Hospital in Tacoma, Wash., July 13. About once a quarter, a group of 446th Airlift Wing Reservists pay homage to the veterans as part of the Visit a Vet Program. According to the American Red Cross, the purpose of Visit a Vet is to encourage individuals to visit the men and women who made sacrifices, which allowed present lives to be as they are today.
