Tree Trimming Training

Reservists with the 446th Civil Engineer Squadron from Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., get training in proper removal of Iron Wood trees at Bellows Air Force Station, Hawaii, April 21. One of the squadron's duties during their annual tour is to help remove the large number of dying trees, which have been a huge safety concern. According to the city and county of Honolulu-Division of Urban Forestry, 50 or more people die a year from falling trees and branches in Hawaii. (Courtesy photo/Senior Master. Sgt. Nathan Wright)
