Commander issues inclement weather reporting instructions

The weather for the McChord Air Force Base, Wash., area this weekend is forcasted to be sub-freezing and with snowy conditions. If the weather develops as anticipated, Col. William Flanigan, 446th Airlift Wing commander is authorizing late reporting procedures for Reserve wing members on Dec. 14. Late reporting is for those who have to travel in unsafe conditions. Individuals should report as soon as possible in a safe manner. Please keep your supervisor or reporting official informed on your progress. More information will be disseminated as it becomes available. For updated information on changes to the reporting instructions, call 253-982-TALK (8255) or check back here at www.446aw.af.mil. Because there is a planned deployment line on Dec. 14, the start times for the two chalks have been changed to 10 a.m. and noon.
