City of Kent Mayor Suzette Cooke signs a statement of support for the Guard and Reserve at a city council meeting Jan. 20. Lt. Col. Ray Luevanos and Lt. Col. Martin Oliver are both Reservists in the 446th Airlift Wing and employees for the city. Both were present at the signing of the statement of support. The statement of support confirms the city of Kent, Wash., pledges that they fully recognize, honor and enforce the Uniformed Services Employment and Re-Employment Rights Act.
