Tech. Sgt. Christopher Parcasio, a Reservist with the 446th Maintenance Squadron, McChord Air Force Base, Wash., accepts the Air Force 2008 Exceptional Innovator Award from Lt Gen Richard Newton III, Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff, Manpower and Personnel. The award was presented during a ceremony at the Pentagon April 21. Sergeant Parcasio is a frequent contributor to the Air Force Innovative Development through Employee Awareness program. With six approved suggestions on the books, he has saved the Air Force more than $800,000 to date.
