Tunisian and U.S. military medical personnel load a stretcher onto a waiting Tunisian helicopter during a mass casualty exercise for MEDLITE 2006 at Kharrouba Air Base in Bizerte, Tunisia. MEDLITE 2006 provides an exchange of medical skills, techniques and procedures between US Air Force medical service personnel and the Tunisian Military Health Services. More specifically, the mission is to conduct deployment, employment, and redeployment exercise phases. Approximately 220 to 250 Tunisian and 75 U.S. military medical personnel, including 446th Airlift Wing doctors, nurses, and medical technicians, participated in the exercise. USAF photo by Tech. Sgt.
