The statue of Lt. Col. Michael Anderson, an astronaut who lost his life in the Space Shuttle Columbia Disaster, is place in front of the Museum of Flight in Seattle. The memorial and aerospace scholarship foundation were created in memory of the Spokane, Wash. native at the Museum of Flight, June 26.
