MCCHORD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash., - Master Sgt Dwayne Lee, 446th Civil Engineer Squadron, adjusts a tamper control module he helped install in a water control substation here Oct. 4. Sergeant Lee and his team of Air Force Reserve engineers retrofitted the decades-old building with an extensive list of modern fire protection equipment in just five days during their annual tour in August. The improvements included installation of approximately 400 feet of conduit piping, 800 feet of electrical wire, 15 tamper control modules, three smoke detectors, two fire alarm pull stations with horn strobes and a fire alarm control panel. "This was a great experience for building rapport between the 446th CES and our active-duty counterparts in the 62nd CES," said Sergeant Lee.
