Reservists, CPFR put family first

TACOMA, Wash.- Master Sgt. Steven Thomas, right, superintendant of the 446th Mission Support Group Airman and Family Readiness Center, McChord Air Force Base, Wash. and 446th MSS Airman and Family Readiness technician, Tech. Sgt. Rick Martini, carry cases of milk to load on to a truck this morning. The milk, along with bags of potatoes, ham, and non-perishable goods were collected by Central Pierce County Fire and Rescue here and given to the Airman and Family Readiness Center to distribute to Reserve families in need today. For about the last five years, the Airman and Family Readiness Center and CPFR have worked together to help needy families. More than 30 boxes were given to families.
