446th Airlift Wing hosts this year's "Hire America's Heroes" symposium

JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash.- Staff Sgt. Patrina Groscup, training monitor, 62nd Operations Support Squadron Aircrew Life Support Flight, fastens the tabs on the Aircrew Eye Respiratory Protection System (AERPS) equipment while emphasizing the importance of wearing the equipment as instructe. This was part of the Hire America's Heroes civic leader tour and symposium, McChord Field here, May 6. The theme of this year's event was "Breaking Down Barriers to Veteran Employment," to help corporate leaders and businesses in Washington State understand how veterans can benefit their business or organization.
