JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. -- Col. Gerald Vowell, 446th Mission Support Group commander, draws a smile from his executive assistant, Staff Sgt. Jamie Garcia, during a one-on-one here Sept. 24. Colonel Vowell took over as the group commander earlier this month, replacing Col. Craig Petersen, who is now the commander of the 433rd MSG at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
