JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. - A medical ventilator is one of the vital equipment Tech. Sgt. Jill Peterson, 446th AES flight medic, uses and needs to be trained on, to administer proper care to her patients while on board the C-17 Globemaster III aircraft. Consistent training and being "mission ready" are just two component that earned the 446th AES the Outstanding Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron Award by the Air Force Reserve Command, in September 2010.
