Reservists prepare Thanksgiving baskets for needy families

JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash.- Senior Airman Nicolas Speer, 446th Logistics Readiness Flight and Tech. Sgt. Nathan Mann, 446th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, prepare Thanksgiving baskets with food donated from the USO in the 446th Mission Support Group Airmen and Family Readiness Center, Nov. 23. The baskets will be to be distributed to needy families from the 446th Airlift Wing. The Care and Share Program is designed to help wing families in need during the holiday season. Reservists with Airmen and Family Readiness, 446th LRF, and 446th AMXS helped put together about 30 baskets of food to distribute to families. About 20 gift cards will be sent out to families who live more than 50 miles away from base and didn't receive a basket. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Jake Chappelle)
