U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Josiah Barton, a Reservist from the 446th Civil Engineer Squadron, McChord Field, Wash., is all business as he prepares to forklift an air conditioning unit at Tyndall Air Force Base, March 22, 2011. Airman Barton is a first-time participant of Silver Flag 2011, a training exercise designed to improve the readiness ability of Air Force civil engineers. Airman Barton is a heating and air conditioning specialist with the 446th CES. The Ridgefield, Wash. native is an engineering student at Portland Community College in his civilian life. He plans to specialize in renewable energy. For Airman Barton, life as a Reservist is a family affair... he has an older and younger brother who are also members of the 446th Airlift Wing.
