Future Airmen prepare for new careers in the Air Force Reserve

MCCHORD FIELD, Wash. - U.S. Air Force Airman Richard Eckhart, 446th Civil Engineer Squadron, electrician apprentice here, recites the Airman's Creed during a training and development session Sept. 10, 2011. Eckhart, who hails from Spanaway, Wash., recently enlisted in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and plans to attend basic training in January 2012. Eckhart and other new enlistees are part of a training and development program aimed at better preparing them for basic training with an emphasis on customs and courtesies, physical exercise and drill commands.
