Kandahar rocket attack makes medical Airmen bleed valor

U.S. Air Force Maj. Kelli Bowen, with the 446th Aeromedical Staging Squadron, McChord Field, Wash. adds her warming touch, cooling fans and donated quilts from home to patients' beds at the Contingency Aeromedical Staging Facility at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan where she is currently deployed as a CASF administrator. The CASF is a staging facility designed to provide patient holding capabilities for up to 72 hours and prepares and clears patients for flight to more definitive care.
