In-house training provides return on investment

Senior Airman Ron Krotzer, a 446th CES electrician apprentice, ensures the upgrades he made are within code. Lt. Col. Kevin Welin, 446th AW chief of safety oversees and inspects his work to verify code and safety standards are met. Krotzer works under the supervision of his trainer, Master Sgt. Dwayne Lee, 446th CES electrician, who has been a journeyman electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local 76 for the past seven years. Performing the work in house both saves money and allows the apprenctice airmen to get valuable on-the-job training they need to become fully qualified. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt.
