Robert Snyder, the Air Force Recovery Care Coordinator here at JBLM McChord Field, informs an Airman about the numerous ways he can aid her through the Integrated Disability Evaluation System, July 21, 2013. IDES transitions injured, ill, or wounded Airmen to veteran disability benefits, with ratings set between the Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs. Snyder is a resource and advocate, bound by client privacy, for active-duty Airmen, as well as Reservists and Air National Guardsmen who received their injuries while serving on Title 10 orders.
