Annual awards recognizes Reservists, honors history of excellence

Boeing engineer joins 313th AS
Joshua Brewer, a Boeing engineer, was sworn in Oct. 25 on the flight line at McChord Field, Wash., by his uncle, a retired Navy Reservist, as the newest pilot in the 313th Airlift Squadron. His family and members of the 313th attended the event, which was held in front of the C-17 Globemaster III that Brewer will fly after graduating from Officer Candidate School and pilot training.
