Like previous seminars, both enlisted and junior officers are encouraged to attend. The seminar will be held at the American Lake Conference Center, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Lewis North, Washington. "This will be a great opportunity for networking and gaining a 'Tool Box' containing valuable resources and techniques that will help our Airmen throughout their professional and personal lives," said Senior Master Sgt. Carol Patten, 313th Airlift Squadron, McChord Field, Washington. "This opportunity is a great way to network with other professionals and to build your knowledge level of what resources are at your fingertips." Topics this year include speakers focusing on CCAF/Education, Enlisted Development Plan, New Evaluation System, as well as exercises involving Speed Mentoring, and Communications along with other topics that will give the tools to grow, both professionally and personally. "After the first day we will be having a group social at the Warrior Zone, which is another great opportunity for networking and having fun," added Patten. "The whole concept of the seminar is to develop citizen Airmen to become better leaders," said Chief Master Sgt. Tony Mack, 446th AW command chief. "This is an ongoing process to help Reservists lead, develop and perform so they can, in return, develop younger Airmen.
