Flu shots in season

The 446th Aerospace Medicine Squadron implemented the Roving Immunization Clinic to administer flu shots Oct. 17 throughout the base.

The influenza vaccine, commonly called a "flu shot." will be available to help protect Airmen from the onslaught of the seasonal virus Saturday or Sunday during the UTA Oct. 17 through Dec. 5. Airmen may also receive the vaccine at the immunization clinic during all normal UTA hours.

Both injectable and nasal versions will be administered on site Oct. 18 at the base theater from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The following is a schedule for the Roving Immunizations Clinic in November and December: 

Nov. 7
7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. with the 446th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron 
8:45 to 9:30 a.m. with the 446th Maintenance Squadron
7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. with the 446th Operations Group

Nov. 14
7 a.m. to 8 a.m. with the 446th Civil Engineer Squadron
8 a.m. to 9 a.m. with the 36th Aerial Port Squadron 

Dec. 5
7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. with the 446th Maintenance Squadron
8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. with the 446th Force Support Squadron
7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. with the 446th Aircraft Maintenance Suqadron
