IAW DHA-IPM-19-006, 29 Aug 2019, in order to maximize force medical readiness before peak influenza season, the Air Force goal is to immunize greater than 90% of all Active and Reserve Component (RC) personnel by December 15, 2019.

Air Force personnel who are required to receive the flu vaccine have become due (yellow) in the Aeromedical Services Information Management System (ASIMS), on September 1, 2019, and will become overdue (red) on December 15, 2019.

This is a change from prior years that allowed vaccination up to 31 December before a member reflected overdue in ASIMS.  Overdue Influenza may affect military participation for RC personnel.  If you have any questions regarding this IMR requirement, please contact your RIO Medical Support team at (720) 847-3089 or submit an inquiry via myPers ticket.  Subject:  RIO Medical Support.

If you already completed your Influenza requirement through a civilian source, please submit that documentation to the RIO Medical Support team via myPers ticket.  Subject: IMR Update-Influenza.  If you have completed your Influenza requirement through a DoD source, the update will be automatic. No further action should be required.  Thanks for ALL you do!
