446th AES trains with Army at Global Medic 2009 Published June 19, 2009 By 446th Airlift Wing Public Affairs 6/16/2009 -- Hundreds of Soldiers and Airmen from Army and Air Force Reserve medical units descended on Fort Gordon, Ga., June 6 to set up and kick off a two week exercise called Global Medic. The 446th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, McChord Air Force Base, Wash., is providing aeromedical evacuation support and training during the exercise, which runs through June 18. Global Medic is the premier medical exercise incorporating joint assets to provide large scale training in planning, preparing and executing operations as part of a deployed task force.
