Town hall meetings address force reductions in wing Published Aug. 3, 2009 446th Airlift Wing Public Affairs MCCHORD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- The 446th Airlift Wing commander, Col. William Flanigan, has scheduled a series of town hall meetings for all 446th Airlift Wing Reservists and civilian employees on Aug. 7 and 8. These meetings will discuss the upcoming force reductions to wing manning that were recently announced by Air Force Reserve Command officials. Both Air Reserve Technicians and traditional Reservists should attend. Representatives from AFRC and Fourth Air Force will be present to answer questions about the force reduction and its effects on the wing. ARTS and civilian employees should attend the meeting on Aug. 7, at 7 a.m., or 3:30 p.m., at the base theater. Reservists in the 446th Operations Group are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting Aug. 8 at 9 a.m. in Hangar 9, and 446th Maintenance Group Reservists are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting Aug. 8 at 10 a.m. in Hangar 9.
