Construction projects impede parking, walking

MCCHORD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. --  Watch your step as you traverse between 446th Airlift Wing facilities here. Construction projects are now under way to improve parking lots and sidewalks.

The parking lot  for Bldg. 1207 (which houses the Recruiting, Airman and Family Readiness, inspector general offices among others) had two large trees removed Oct. 20 and the pavement was removed. In addition, sidewalk work is being done between Bldgs. 1205 and 1207. Please watch out for heavy equipment in the area until mid-December. There is no parking available in the Bldg. 1207 parking lot until the project is completed. Please park in the Bldg. 1205 parking lot across the street.

There will be new sidewalks going in between Bldg. 1210 and Bldg. 1211, linking those buildings to Bldg. 1216. Again all work should be completed around mid-December.
