Veteran Day offers available to Reservists Published Nov. 4, 2009 446th Airlift Wing Public Affairs MCCHORD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Veterans Day is a time to honor America's military veterans, past and present. Some Americans recognize our veterans with parades, such as the one in Auburn, Wash., Nov. 7, where the 446th Airlift Wing will provide a C-17 flyover. Others honor veterans through special offers. Local offers have been made to veterans in the area, demonstrating how much our communities support your military service.
