McChord Reserve aeromedical team wins big at Air Mobility Rodeo

The Air Mobility Rodeo 2011 competition drew to a close at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., with the 446th Airlift Wing's aeromedical evacuation team winning the trophy for Best C-17 Aeromedical Team.

The 97th Air Mobility Wing, Altus AFB, Okla., earned the Best Air Mobility Wing trophy during the closing ceremonies and awards presentation July 29 for the Air Mobility Command bi-annual  competition.

Air Force Reserve Command units won or partnered to win 28 of the 80 categories in the 2011 competition, including the 446th AW's security forces team winning the Combat Weapons award and the aeromedical team winning the C-17 aeromedical contingency flight award.

The following teams were also winners at Air Mobility Rodeo 2011:
