The first winner of The History Channel's number one show, "Top Shot," will be at the Joint Base Lewis-McChord, McChord Exchange Dec. 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a meet and greet event with Airmen here.

Sharp shooter Iain Harrison will share his expertise with 70 Reservists during a shooting demonstration at the Lewis-Main firing range from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sign-up is required as space is limited.

In pursuit of his love of shooting, the British marksman moved to Oregon, where he awaits his U.S. citizenship. Prior to crossing the pond, Harrison served as a recon platoon commander in the British Army and has shot everything from service small arms to anti-tank missiles and cannons.

The "Top Shot" now resides in the Pacific Northwest and is an amateur gunsmith machining his own steel and aluminum on a milling machine and lathe. In 2009, he placed second in Trooper Class in the Mike Gibson Manufacturing Ironman multi-gun competition, using his homemade firearms.

Interested Reservists will meet on the enlisted side of the McChord Club at 12:45 p.m. and be bused to the range for the demonstration.

For more information, or to sign up for one of the 70 slots to attend the shooting demonstration, please contact 2nd Lt. Denise Hauser at (253) 982-9135 or via e-mail at denise.hauser.2@us.af.mil.
