Hire America's Heroes hosts career day

More than 60 major corporations are getting ready to welcome veterans, - include 446th Airlift Wing Reservists - to Hire America's Heroes Career Day at Century Link Field on Feb 24.

Exhibitors want to meet with veterans and assist them in finding their next career in the corporate workforce. In order to attend, you need to register at RegOnline: https://www.regonline.com?eventID=1030424&rTypeID=555293.

The career day will be from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p. m. 

Hire America's Heroes focuses on private sector employment vice government.  Learn about different industries, see presentations of the VOW Act and on Washington's Permissive Veterans Preference legislation, stay connected to sponsoring companies even after the career day is done.  There will be career counselors and guides to help job-seekers find the resources they need at the career day.  

Job-Seekers can rehearse their interview skills with a professional interviewer - get the interview videotaped, take the video home on a Hire America's Heroes thumb drive.

A special "Job-Seekers Lunch" package has been arranged with Century Link and will be available at the 12th Man Grill on the West Club Level - reduced-price cost is $10 Complimentary Coffee Service is provided throughout the day.
