How We Serve TSgt Gregory Collins
Tech. Sgt. Gregory Collins, 446th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief,
Gregory joined the 446th AMXS in June 2012 after serving 10 years as a military policeman with the Army.
“After leaving the Army in 2012, I decided that I was not ready to completely leave the military service,” he said.
On the civilian side, Gregory studies Aviation Science in Green River Community College’s Professional Pilot Program. He resides in the same city as his college, Renton, Wash. He said he believes his experience of learning aviation maintenance in the Air Force Reserve has given him a huge advantage in becoming a civilian pilot. His ultimate goals are to become a commercial airline pilot and retire from the Air Force Reserve.
Collins is one of more than 2,400 Citizen Airmen assigned to the 446th Airlift Wing who supports the Air Mobility Command mission around the world on a daily basis.
