Airmen with the 36th Airlift Squadron based at Yokota Air Base Japan perform personnel drops with members of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force as part of exercise Keen Sword 19. KS19 is a joint/bilateral FTX involving U.S. military and Japan Self-Defense Force (JSDF) designed to enhance Japan-U.S. combat readiness and interoperability while strengthening bilateral relationships and demonstrating U.S. resolve to support the security interests of allies and partners in the region.
