U.S. Army Advisors, Civil Affairs train with Mauritanian Army

U.S. Army Advisors assigned to 2nd Security Forces Assistance Brigade conduct training with the Armée Nationale Mauritanienne [Mauritanian National Army], in Nouakchott, Mauritania. Running from July 24 - Aug. 22, 2024, the training brings together Mauritanian Army soldiers, U.S. Army advisors, and U.S. Army Civil Affairs soldiers from Southern European Task Force - Africa (SETAF-AF) for the first time in history to conduct a variety of training including combat casualty care, maneuver tactics, techniques, and procedures, maintenance operations, and large-scale combat operations planning. The training is designed to enhance partnerships and relationships between U.S. and Mauritanian armed forces. (U.S. Department of Defense video by SrA Gabriel Held)
