U.S. National Guard Soldiers and Airmen with the 43rd Civil Support Team (CST), South Carolina National Guard, partner with the 42nd CST, North Carolina National Guard, the 4th CST, Georgia National Guard, and civilian agencies to respond to an exercise scenario on the USS Yorktown in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, March 10, 2020, as part of Phoenix Dawn, a South Carolina Law Enforcement Division exercise where the partner agencies responded to a simulated threat. The purpose of the exercise is to train on and exercise statewide emergency response plans, policies, and procedures as they pertain to a threat in partnership with civilian authorities and other state National Guard units.
