The Army Mountain Warfare School at the Ethan Allen Firing Range in Jericho, Vermont, opened the doors of their new schoolhouse in January 2023. The first class of Military Mountain Warriors utilized the indoor climbing wall for an initial climbing evaluation. AMWS courses enable Soldiers to operate successfully using proven techniques derived from lessons learned by units currently engaged in mountain warfare.
