JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD -- The 446th ‘Rainier’ Wing is joining the Team McChord Honorary Commander program.
The Honorary Commander program is an Air Force initiative to educate community partners about the Air Force by teaming them up with military leaders.
The Rainier Wing Public Affairs Office is looking for civic leaders and employers to pair up with our military leadership as part of this program.
Great candidates for the Honorary Commander program include non-federal elected or appointed officials, mayors, chamber of commerce-type group members, principals of local schools, Military Affairs Committee members and others who, because of their position or influence in the community, can positively impact public support for the base.
