This edition features a story on a medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) pilot, with the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, picking up and transporting an Afghan civilian injured by an improvised explosive device. While en route to a ground medical facility in Kandahar, Afghanistan, flight medics attended to his injuries in hopes of improving his chances of recovery. Produced by Army Sgt. Robert Liddy.
