The 446th Force Support Squadron will limit its customer service functions July 22-25 for unit-wide training.

“Limiting functions will help the 446 FSS complete mandatory training,” said Lt. Col. Jennifer Goetz, commander of the 446th Force Support Squadron. “Completing the required training will improve readiness overall, which is the one of the top priorities, as well as improve the quality of service customers expect to experience.”

During the July Super Unit Training Assembly (UTA) from July 22 through July 25, the squadron will reduce its customer service functions and lean on its active-duty partners at the 627th Communications Squadron to assist Reservists with any communications support.

The following FSS services will close or limited:

  • No common access cards (CAC) or DEERS updates.
  • Newcomers will occur on July 22.
  • CDC testing will occur on July 22 and July 23 only.
  • Physical fitness assessments will occur on July 23 only.
  • 627 CS will assist with communications support on July 22 and July 25 only.

Though FSS will close its customer service functions, Reserve Citizen Airmen, retirees and dependents can still update their CAC or DEERS information during this period.

Goetz encourages customers to schedule an appointment using the RAPIDS ID Card Office at https://idco.dmdc.osd.mil/idco/locator to find nearest location for ID Cards and DEERS assistance during the July Super UTA. Customers can also use the locator to find offices near their residence to schedule an appointment outside the UTA weekend.

The 446 FSS will resume normal operating hours and full service July 26.
